Cosplay, the act of dressing up and acting as a character from an anime, films, and games, has become an increasing trend in many parts of the world. This workshop will focus on introducing people to the culture of cosplay and helping those with no prior experience in cosplaying to start.

Various panels will be held during this event, each to addressing different aspects of cosplay that one would encounter from planning and making a costume to portraying the chosen character in events like exhibition or photoshoots. In addition, attendees will be given time after each panel to get some hands on experience on the skill they just learned. For example, after one learns about making patterns for different costumes, they would have the chance to create a simple pattern for themselves. Cosplayers will be present at all panels to share their own stories and help out. Through this workshop, we hope to share with all of those who attend that despite all the hard work that goes into cosplaying, the goal is to simply enjoy the experience and have fun.
